The state Department of Health yesterday launched a new “Covid-19 Vaccine Dashboard” to serve as the official site for the release of information on the distribution of the vaccine.
The Dashboard shows Indiana County having distributed 743 doses of the vaccine so far, all in the “partial” category. That simply means that the time between the first and second shots of the two-dose vaccines has not been reached yet.

So far, the Indiana Regional Medical Center is the only provider in the county to have received vaccines.
The state also released a county-by-county list of 120 long-term care facilities that have received the vaccine, which is being distributed by CVS through an agreement with the federal government. They do not include any facilities in Indiana County. There are three in Clearfield County, two in Jefferson County, and one in Cambria County on the list.
The Walgreens chain is also administering the vaccine in counties in which their stores are located. So far, they have treated residents at six long-term care facilities.
