State Police are asking the public’s help in trying to find who was responsible for a theft in mid-November in Saltsburg Borough.
Police say that between 7 PM on November 11th and 9 AM the following day, an unidentified person was able to gain entry to a 2008 tan Dodge truck belonging to a Saltsburg man. The thief took several items, including a two-tone Century Arms 9x18mm semi-automatic handgun, a cloth holster, an air compressor in a black case, a PNC Bank checkbook and a case of beer. This was as the truck was parked on High Street in Saltsburg.
Police estimate the total amount stolen was close to $300. Anyone with information on the theft is encouraged to call police at 724-357-1960.
