State troopers are investigating a theft that happened earlier this month in Green Township. Police say that between 6:00 PM on December 4th and 12:00 PM on the 6th, someone went into an unlocked garage near the intersection of Route 403 and Allison Road and stole three hoverboards valued at $150 each. There was no sign of force in this incident. Around the same time and in the same location, police report that someone broke the window of a home of a 59-year-old Clymer man and gained entry. Police continue to investigate both incidents.
A Philadelphia woman is charged with assaulting a person at Torrance State Hospital. State police say this happened at 9:39 PM on December 18th at the facility on Longview Drive. The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Dereck Bohannhan of Philadelphia, while the victim was described only as a 31-year-old Homer City man.
