PSP-INDIANA
State police are investigating the theft of a gun and a safe from a home in Armstrong Township on November 25th. Police say that between 2:30 and 9:07 PM that day, an unknown person broke into the home of a 24-year-old Indiana man and woman on Black Bird Drive and stole a safe containing a pistol and a set of keys. No word yet on any suspects.
A Pittsburgh man was arrested in Burrell Township on drug-related charges on December 2nd. State police say that on December 2nd, a 21-year-old man, who was not named by police, was found to be in possession of marijuana, a vape pen with THC oil, drug paraphernalia and an orange prescription bottle containing Oxycodone pills with a defaced prescription label during a traffic stop on Route 119 at the intersection with Barrondale Road.
No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Oakland Avenue in White Township last Friday. State police say that 66-year-old John Serrian of Kent was driving his SUV East on Oakland Avenue, and was in the left turn lane to turn into Regency Mall. He did not yield to oncoming traffic and collided with 22-year-old Micah Smith of Dallastown, York County. Both vehicles were able to pull into the parking lot.
