On Tuesday, the White Township Planning Commission approved a preliminary/final land development plan for the former state police barracks on Route 286.
The building will be occupied by the state department of Labor and Industry and the new development plan includes a 5,486 square foot addition to the building itself and the addition of 39 parking spaces. The plan was approved pending the storm water management approval and a storm water agreement that needs to be approved at the courthouse.
Two final minor subdivisions were also approved, but one of them was unique. That was for a property owned by Thomas Trimble on Nibert road. Assistant township manager Chris Anderson talked about what made this approval unique.
The other final minor subdivision was on Water Works Road on the property of Mark Plivelic.
