State police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that did more than $1,000 in damages on November 24th. Troopers say that this happened at 12:44 PM at 2142 Auen Road in Conemaugh Township, as what police believe a 1994 to 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup failed to go through a right curve cleanly and hit a fence. The fence was destroyed and the crash also damaged a retention pipe system. Police say that the truck’s color is not known, but police say that the truck is now missing its passenger side headlight and a rearview mirror. The mirror was found at the accident scene. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-357-1960.
State troopers are investigating a case of counterfeiting that happened last Saturday. Police say that on November 28th, an unknown person went to the Sheetz on Route 22 in Burrell Township and used a fake $50 bill to pay for a purchase. They were able to get away driving an unknown Red Chevy sedan. Police ask anyone with information to call them at 724-357-1960.
