Penns Manor School District announced through its social media platforms that an outside agency which works for the elementary school reported to the district that an employee of that agency had tested positive for Covid-19.
The district has worked with the outside agency to identify the employee and communicate with those who were in close contact with that person. The employee has not been in the building since December 1st.
The district encourages all members of the school community to continue to monitor for symptoms and talk with your health care professional and school nurse if you have any concerns.
