According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter today, two more Steelers have tested positive for Covid-19, including starting running back James Conner.
The report comes a day after the Steelers placed three players on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Conner was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 this afternoon, according to the Steelers’ Facebook page.
The other person to test positive was a coach not named in the report.
If Conner’s positive test holds up, he’ll be ineligible for 10 days and miss both the twice-rescheduled game with Baltimore on Tuesday and the Washington game next Sunday.
Conner has 145 carries for 645 yards, a 4.4-yard average, with five touchdowns through 10 games. He also has 25 receptions for 145 yards.
On Friday the team placed defensive end Stephon Tuitt, defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs, and offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
