No injuries were reported in a vehicle crash on Route 22 in Burrell Township Thursday afternoon.
State police say 30-year-old Tiffany Blattenberger of Claridge in Westmoreland County was driving on Route 22 in Burrell Township near the Sheetz when the power train in her Ford Mustang malfunctioned, causing the gas pedal to stick. Blattenberger’s car went off the road and subsequently crashed into a tree.
Blattenberger was cited for a summary traffic violation for not carrying vehicle responsibility papers.
