State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash last Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Routes 85 and 210 in Plumville.
Police say a driver ran through the stop sign on 210 and continued through the parking lot at the antique store across the road, striking the building with its driver’s side. The vehicle then ran over a child’s swing set and through some hedges before coming to rest in a yard. The driver the fled through the yard and back onto the road, going in an unknown direction.
The crash happened at 12:10 PM and the vehicle left behind a tail light. There is no other description given of the vehicle.
