IUP women’s basketball head coach Tom McConnell has signed two players in the early signing period, which tipped off Wednesday.
The class consists of forward Molly Howard from McDonald, Ohio and guard Anna Kadlubek from Butler. Both are two-time all-region/district selections who led their teams to titles as juniors in 2020.
Howard is a 5-19 forward who was All-Ohio Division IV second team and first team All-Northeast Inland District. She averaged 17 points per game last season.
Kadlubek is a 5-7 guard from Slippery Rock High School who averaged 12.4 points per game last season. She led Slippery Rock to the Region 5 championship and to District 10 title game.
“We are really excited about these two young players,” said McConnell. “We are bringing a class with the right mix of talent and intangibles and we can’t wait to welcome them into our IUP women’s basketball family.”

Meanwhile, IUP women’s lacrosse coach Brenna Gallagher has added nine recruits in the early signing period, from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
