In the wake of increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases in the district, the Purchase Line School Board voted to go to an all-virtual teaching format over the Thanksgiving break.
The virtual learning period will start November 23rd and run through December 4th. Superintendent Shawn Ford said that they would not be losing a lot of class days because of the fact that the closure will happen around the Thanksgiving holiday break.
In other business, the board also approved delaying the start of the winter sports season to December 7th start date. Practices for winter sports can start on that day.
