The United School Board meets tonight with a limited agenda, including the resignation notice of a faculty member and the longtime track coach.
The board is scheduled to consider the resignation and replacement of Family and Consumer Sciences teacher Jocelyn Hudson tonight, and the resignation after 32 years of girls track coach Chris Matava.
Matava has been involved in coaching at United for decades. He was the varsity football coach for 11 years before resigning after the 2008 season. He has also coached in the basketball program, and as head golf coach.
The school board will also consider a cyber school arrangement with the Seneca Valley School District, and a motion to have the annual checkup done on the district’s boilers and water heaters.
