The undefeated Marion Center girls won their 20th Heritage Conference championship and 11th championship in a row Thursday afternoon at Marion Center.
Stingers girls claimed the top three places and five of the top 10. Junior Nevada Armstrong won her second championship with a time of 21:16.9. The rest of the top five was rounded out by Marion Center’s Reagan Ryen and Lilly Ryer, Penns Manor’s Savanna Orner and Marion Center’s Maggie Hood.
The Marion Center boys won their fourth straight title, with three of the top four finishers and four of the top 10.
Sophomore Tim Barrett claimed the individual championship for the Stingers with a time of 17:52.8. Gavin Camerono of United took second, followed by Marion Center’s Levi Waltermire and Anthony Scott and Jared Bowman of Penns Manor.
