An Indiana man charged in connection with two drug-related cases pleaded guilty to lesser charges yesterday in Indiana County Court.
During his plea court session yesterday, 29-year-old Tyler R. Ozepy pleaded guilty to two counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver, one for each case that he was facing. The charges in the first case came from an investigation that started December 26th of 2019. That’s when an informant under surveillance purchased heroin at Ozepy’s apartment. In a stake out on January 14th of this year, police raided the apartment and found seven bricks of heroin with a street value of over $5100, along with a gun and over $1500 in cash. Additional counts of possession with intent to deliver along with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.
Ozepy will be sentenced on January 11th of next year in front of Indiana County Judge Tom Bianco.
