According to the Saltsburg High School athletic department, the Bishop Carroll Huskies are forfeiting this Friday’s scheduled football game to the Saltsburg Trojans, citing injury issues for the Huskies.
Saltsburg, 1-4, entered this week clinging to the 12th and last playoff spot in the District 6 Class A rankings.
Bishop Carroll is a non-Heritage Conference school which has been filling open dates in the Heritage Conference schedule during the 2020 season after the departure of Ligonier Valley. The Huskies are 0-5 and lost to Penns Manor, 74-0, last week.
