Monday was the busiest day for those providing free Covid-19 tests at a pop-up drive-through testing clinic in the former Bon Ton parking lot.
One hundred eighty five people went through the pop-up testing clinic on Monday. That brings the final total number of those who took advantage of the free testing to 577. The number of tests administered on Monday was the highest, with the second highest number being the first day of testing on Thursday, with 145 tests administered that day.
The testing clinic came to Indiana County from the PA Department of Health and tests were conducted by AMI Expeditionary Healthcare. Currently, Indiana County has a 5.9 percent positivity rate over the most recent seven-day period, according to the PA Department of Health. The number of Coronavirus cases in the county went up on Monday to 875, an increase of 11 from Sunday.
No new deaths were reported, so that number remains at 14.
