Today is Columbus Day, and because it is a federal holiday, there are some closures in effect.
Federal, State and Local Government offices and courts are closed for the day. Post offices are closed for the day as well, but UPS and FedEx will still offer delivery services today. Many banks are closed today. PA Liquor stores that would normally be open on a Monday will be open today.
As far as schools go, many of the schools in the ARIN intermediate unit are open for today. The exceptions are Homer-Center, Indiana and United, which are open for staff in-service only today.
