Week Five of the high school football season kicks off tonight with five games on the Heritage Conference schedule, and with Indiana looking for its third straight WPIAL win at Highlands.

One of the highlight games is on WQMU (FM 92.5 ). It’s a clash between two unbeaten teams, as Northern Cambria travels to Marion Center.

On WCCS (AM 1160/FM 101.1), Homer Center visits Saltsburg, with the Wildcats looking to rebound from their first loss of the season last week against Penns Manor.
Homer Center coach Greg Page says the Trojans have a lot of offensive weapons, especially with the addition of running back Sincere McFarlin to complement the Bartolini boys and others.
Saltsburg coach Mike Leasure is wary of quarterback Ben Schmidt and the Wildcats’ offense.
On Cat Country, (FM 106.3) tonight, a couple of teams which won for the first time last week will look to build some momentum as Blairsville hosts Purchase Line.
Bobcats’ coach Rick Artley gets a weapon back tonight with the return of his son, Zak, at quarterback, and he’ll look to expand his passing attack.
Red Dragons’ freshman quarterback John Eleck started last week against Saltsburg, allowing Josh Syster to be used more at running back. Coach Matt Falisec was pleased with Elick’s play.
On WDAD (AM 1450/FM 100.3) tonight, Indiana rides a two-game winning streak into their game at Highlands.
The other games involving Heritage Conference teams are United at West Shamokin and non-conference Bishop Carroll at Penns Manor.
