The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded goaltender Matt Murray to the Ottawa Senators. In exchange, the Pens will receive Jonathan Gruden and the 52nd overall pick in the NHL draft, giving the Pens a second-round pick.
Murray has played 199 games in his career so far, and was 20-11-5 in 38 games in the 2019-2020 season. Gruden is a forward who was drafted in 2018 by the Senators and last season was with the London Knights in the CHL. He had 30 goals and 36 assists for the Knights last season.
