A jury trial is set to get underway today for a man charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct connected with an incident in January of this year.
Court documents say that 52-year-old Rex Woodrow Walker of Glen Campbell will go before a jury and Judge Thomas Bianco today for his trial. This marks the third attempt at a jury trial for Walker, as the trial was moved twice, once in late August and once in late September. Jury selection was held on September 29th.
Walker has a history in the legal system as he pleaded guilty to a charge of summary harassment for an incident in February of 2018 where he allegedly grabbed and pushed a woman at the parking lot of the Walmart on Oakland Avenue.
