State police have released a new “Five most wanted” list, and announced that a person on their previous list is now in custody.
Troopers say that 32-year-old Rachelle Hamilton of Penn Hills was apprehended by police on September 18th. She was on the list for a 2020 felony charge of theft of a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Indiana. She was arraigned in front of district judge Christopher Welch and placed in Indiana County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for September 30th at 1:30 in front of District Judge Guy Haberl.
In the meantime, the state police have updated their “five most wanted” list, and they include:
- 36-year-old Dustin Finch of Altoona who is wanted for charges of criminal trespass from earlier this year in Strongstown.
- 49-year-old James E. Emerson of New Florence, who is wanted for failure to comply with Meghan’s law violations. He was last seen in Indiana.
- 36-year-old Monty G. Smith of Saltsburg, who is wanted on charges of possession with intent to deliver for an incident earlier this year in Indiana.
- 35-year-old Jonathan J. Shetler of Saltsburg, who is wanted for felony receiving stolen property in Saltsburg.
- 39-year-old Tasha M. Wennick of Strongstown, who is wanted for felony criminal trespass that happened earlier this year in Strongstown.
