First responders in Derry Township were able to rescue a man after he and his ATV went over an embankment Thursday evening.
Reports say that the ATV crash happened in the area of Bradenville School Road. The Derry Fire Department was called in to rescue the man, who was not named in reports. Representatives said that they needed ropes and extra manpower as it was difficult to get the man off the hillside.
After he was rescued, the man was transported to the hospital by medical helicopter. No word yet on his condition.
