The Steelers are getting ready for their home opener on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Both teams played Monday night, but the Steelers got the better of their Monday night match up, winning over the New York Giants 26-16. The Broncos lost a close one to the Tennessee Titans 16-14.
As far as injuries go, the Steelers are continuing to make up for injuries on the offensive line. Veteran Offensive Lineman Stefan Wisniewski has been placed on injured reserve with a pectoral injury, meaning he can’t practice for three weeks. He had taken over for David Decastro, who will also be out of action. That means rookie Kevin Dotson will get the start. No others on the injury report, including James Conner, Diontae Johnson, and Juju Smith-Shuster, have been given any injury designations for Sunday’s game and are good to go.
