Tiz the Law is a near historic favorite to win the Kentucky Derby at odds of 3-5 entering the race today.
Tiz won the Belmont Stakes, but has drawn the 17th starting post, a position from which no horse has ever won the Derby. Finnick the Fierce, the only colt to beat Tiz, was scratched Friday with a foot issue, leaving 16 horses in the field. The race normally attracts 150-thousand spectators, but Churchill Downs will be empty for the 146th Run for the Roses.
