William Byron won his first NASCAR Sprint Cup series race last night at Daytona, knocking his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jimmie Johnson out of the 30-driver playoff field and clinching a spot for himself.
Matt DiBenedetto and Clint Bowyer clinched the other two open spots as NASCAR finished its regular season.
