The Steelers held their first practice in pads yesterday and coach Mike Tomlin was pleased with the intensity of his team.
Guard David DeCastro, wide receiver James Washington, and defensive lineman Chris Wormley missed practice with minor injuries and Tomlin said they were day-to-day. Center Maurkice Pouncey was also excused for personal reasons.
