The Pirates are off again today after the postponement of their games Saturday and Sunday in Cincinnati.
After a Reds player tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, all of the players and members of the Pirates’ traveling party were tested for coronavirus on Saturday, and all of the tests came back negative. They were all tested again yesterday, with the results not yet posted.
Even though both the Bucs and Reds had today scheduled off, MLB chose not to have the games made up with a doubleheader today.
JT Brubaker makes the start for the Pirates tomorrow night when they host Cleveland at PNC Park. The Indians will counter with Carlos Carrasco. You’ll hear the game on WCCS, FM 101.1 and AM 1160, with the pregame on the air at 6:40. Steven Brault and Trevor Williams are scheduled on the mound for the Pirates in the second and third games of the series.
