After that, the offense was all Cincinatti, with a two run homer by Jesse Winkler in the bottom of the 4th, and with a groundout RBI by Tucker Barnhart that scored Josh VanMeter, and Nick Castellanos hitting a three-run homer in the 7th inning. The scoring resumed in the 8th, as Tucker Barhardt had an RBI single that scored Freddie Galvis.
Chad Kuhl took the loss, giving up three runs on four hits, and striking out six in five innings of work.
