Three area school boards will be meeting tonight, with the scheduled start of the school year getting closer and administrators continuing to plan for it in a changing educational environment.
Penns Manor will hold a special voting meeting prior to its regularly-scheduled committee meeting. The board will vote on motions to push back the start of school to August 31st and to revise the posted Health and Safety Plan to reflect that change. Then in committee, the board will consider a number of motions related to the start of school, including personnel and policy decisions. The voting meeting will be held next Thursday.
The Homer Center and Purchase Line school boards meet tonight as well for planning and work sessions. They have not posted their agendas.
