Indiana County Courts have a light schedule today, but the schedule includes a plea hearing for one of two women charged with stealing items from a beauty store.
The plea hearing for Jacqueline Dawn Lane of DuBois, who turns 46 next week, is related to a theft that happened at the Sally Beauty Supply store on Oakland Avenue in White Township. Police say she and an accomplice, 21-year-old Harlie Cowie of Brookville allegedly took $330 worth of items from the store in November of 2019 Lane was taken into custody at the scene and has been free on $15,000 bail. Cowie was taken into custody in May in Brookville.
Also on the schedule today is a plea hearing for Katheryn Elise James, a 29-year-old Nanty Glo woman who was charged with retail theft on January 13th of this year.
