The Pittsburgh Riverhounds opened their season last night with a 3-1 win on the road at Louisville City, getting a bit of revenge for their USL Eastern Conference playoff loss to LouCity last year.
After falling behind 1-0 in the brand new Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, the Riverhounds scored three unanswered goals, by Jordan Dover, Robbie Mertz and Anthony Velarde.
The Hounds will play on the road Saturday against Philadelphia Union Two.
