The Pirates continue workouts at PNC Park, in preparation for the hoped-for season opener July 24th at St. Louis. The team held its first intrasquad game on Friday.
Missing from camp are expected closer Keone Kela and top prospect Ke’Bryan Hayes, who is projected as the team’s third baseman of the future, and maybe the present. The team has not announced anything about either player.
