UFC will hold its first event on their self-proclaimed “Fight Island” tonight as the show emanates on Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates. This is part of the effort of the UFC to feature international fighters that could not make it to their APEX headquarters in Las Vegas.
Three championships will be fought for tonight. The first will be Peter Yan vs Jose Aldo for the Bantamweight title, Alexander Volkanovski against Max Holloway for the Featherweight title, and the main event will be Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal for the welterweight title. Eight other fights are scheduled for the undercard.
