Major League Baseball announced its abridged 2020 regular season schedule for all 30 teams last night.
The Pirates will open on the road at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals for a three-game set on July 24th before returning to PNC Park for three against the Milwaukee Brewers on July 27th.
Their final home-stand comes as an eight-game set against the Cardinals and the Cubs in September before visiting the nearby Cleveland Indians for three starting September 25th.
The league campaign will begin on July 23rd with an ESPN doubleheader as the defending World Champion Washington Nationals will host the New York Yankees, followed by the San Francisco Giants facing the Los Angeles Dodgers. All remaining teams will open play on July 24th.
Each club will play a 60-game schedule that will end in late September.
