During their meeting last night, Center Township supervisors discussed the relocation of the Coral-Graceton post office.
The United States Postal Service informed the supervisors that they are proceeding with the project to have the post office moved to the Coral-Graceton Fire Department property. Supervisors chairman Dave “Butch” Smyers said that the postal service is in the process of finishing the landowner paperwork with the fire department. When the USPS held a community meeting in January of this year, they said that once paperwork was complete, the post office would be constructed in 4-6 months.
Speaking of Coral-Graceton, supervisors accepted the low bid of Derry Construction for paving First Street, Graceton Way and a portion of Neal Road. Its bid was $107,990.40. Suit-Kote Corporation will also be in later this week to seal roads on which drainage has been installed. That includes Long Road, Neal Road and Six Flats Road.
