Former Steelers Coach Bill Cowher says he and his wife have both tested positive for coronavirus antibodies, meaning they had the virus and have recovered from it. Cowher says they both felt under the weather in March but were not tested, but in April they were tested for antibodies, and it came up positive.
Multiple reports say the NFL has decided to reduce this year’s preseason from four games to two, eliminating the first and fourth games from the schedule. That would put the first game as early as August 20th and the second as late as August 30th.
This year’s supplemental draft will also be scrapped from the league calendar, with potential entrants to be instead eligible to be taken in the 2021 regular draft.
The Green bay Packers say they have agreed to contract terms with first round draft choice Jordan Love. Green Bay moved up four spots in the draft to take Love with the 26th overall pick in April, sparking Packers’ fans’ concerns that 36-year-old Hall of Fame-bound Aaron Rodgers’ future with the team is in doubt. The Packers also have signed running back A.J. Dillon, their second-round pick.
