We are getting closer to the resumption of play in the NHL, and when the Penguins finally take ice for their scheduled five-game series against the Montreal Canadiens, The Athletic says Matt Murray will be in goal.
Murray won two Stanley Cups for the Pens, in 2016 and 2017, but he has struggled the last two years. Nonetheless, he is 20-11-and-5 this year. Tristan Jarry, meanwhile, is 20-12-1 and made the All-Star team this year.
The NHL is expected to announce the two hub cities in which the league will play the remainder of the season. The favorites are Vegas and Toronto.
