Basketball coach Jeff Capel announced over the weekend that former Miami (of Ohio) guard Nike Sibande has transferred to Pitt to complete his final year of eligibility. Barring a waiver from the NCAA, he would have to sit out a year since it’s a D1 to D1 move.
Sibande is 6-4 and averaged 13.9 points per game last year. He averaged 15.1 points and 16.1 points in his freshman and sophomore years.
