There are a number of motions hearings in Indiana County Court today, including hearings for Dylan Dalessio and his father, Doug.
20-year-old Dylan Dalessio is charged with setting three arson fires in 2018 and 2019 in northern Indiana County. He and his 51-year-old father are both charged with three felony offenses related to that case: intimidation of a witness or victim, conspiracy to the same offense, and criminal use of a communication facility. The charges stem from telephone conversations recorded at the Indiana County Jail last October.
The hearings today before Judge Thomas Bianco are for motions of discovery. Nicholas Leone, who is Dylan Dalessio’s co-defendant in the arson cases, was to have a motions hearing today, but that has been postponed until August.
Judge Bianco will also conduct motions hearings in two separate drug cases against 48-year-old Harold Filler Jr. of Indiana. Filler’s attorney has filed an omnibus pretrial motion and a writ of habeas corpus to quash a transcript.
The judge will also hold pretrial motions hearings for two DUI defendants, 45-year-old Steven Karadus III of Dixonville and 58-year-old Samuel Finegan of Bolivar.
There is also a motions hearing for 33-year-old Tyson Anderson of Ford City, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
