The PIAA Board of Directors yesterday unanimously approved a two-game suspension option for coaches and players who are ejected from a game for the use of foul or vulgar language, or for ethnic or racially insensitive comments, or for making physical contact with an official.
The decision would be left to the game official based on his or her assessment of the violation and the school could appeal, but only based on misidentification or a misapplication of the rule.
