State police have not issued a report on an accident Friday in Black Lick Township involving an overturned vehicle.
Indiana County 911 reported that Black Lick, Blairsville and Aultman fire departments were dispatched at 2:41 PM on Friday for the crash on Strong Road. Citizen’s Ambulance was also called to the scene. Fire officials say that a man driving a truck hit a utility pole and rolled the truck onto its roof. The driver, who was not identified, was able to get out of the truck on his own.
In other news, the 43rd brush fire of the year was reported on Friday as Indiana Fire Company 1 was called out at 5:05 PM for the brush fire on Metz Road in White Township. Indiana Fire Officials say that it was a small brush fire along the side of the road near the White Township-Cherryhill Township border.
