Shoppers will see more stores opening as the county moves from yellow to green status as part of Governor Wolf’s reopening plan. This includes some vendors at the Indiana Mall.
One of the mall’s anchor stores, JCPenney, will reopen tomorrow at noon, but their Sephora makeup department will not open until Friday. JCPenney is able to reopen before some of the other stores as it utilizes exterior doors rather than just a mall entrance. Other stores in the mall that have utilized that rule are Kohl’s, Harbor Freight, J.C.’s Hallmark Cards and H&R Block.
A handful of inside stores will reopen on Friday along with the Sephora department inside JCPenney. Sherry Renosky of the Indiana Mall said that many of the stores that are reopening are “mom and pop” stores and only a few of the national chain stores.
