Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi continues to mine the football fields of Virginia, as Norfolk running back Malik Newton announced a verbal commitment to play for the Panthers. He is the second Norfolk running back in Narduzzi’s 2021 recruiting class, and he’s the fourth recruit from Virginia for the class of 2021.
The 6-2, 220-pounder is rated the second-best running back in Virginia and chose Pitt over eighteen other schools, including Clemson, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, and West Virginia.
