The state Department of Labor & Industry yesterday released its annual county-by-county analysis of wages and salaries.
The data from the Center for Workforce Information & Analysis shows Indiana County with an average hourly wage for all occupations of $21.01, and an average annual wage of $43,700. The average annual entry wage is $20,330, and for those with experience, it’s $55,380.
For management positions, the average hourly wage is $48.36, making for an annual wage of $100,580. Entry-level management positions pay an average of $49,580 per year, and experiences management employees make an annual average of $126,080.
Indiana County lags behind the statewide wages. The average employee is paid about $24.68 per hour, which is $3.67 more than Indiana County’s earners. Management employees make an average of $60.23 per hour across the commonwealth. That’s $11.87 more than their counterparts in Indiana County.
