Spirit Airlines has announced the resumption of flights from the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, starting on June 25th.
The airline resumed flying from to Orlando, Florida, on May 3rd, after halting all commercial flights out of Latrobe on April 8th. The flights to Orlando include a stopover in Pittsburgh, but Spirit will begin round-trip flights from Latrobe on June 11th. Spirit is already booking the new flight schedules.
The Arnold Palmer Regional Airport has strict new rules in place to guard the health of passengers and staff, including transparent shields on the counters. Masks are required inside the terminal and Spirit requires masks on all customers in its airplanes.
