Penguins forward Dominik Simon is going to be sidelined six-to-seven months following surgery to repair a torn labrum. The team announced he underwent surgery on his left shoulder last month. Simon was hurt back in February in a game against San Jose.
Frequently skating on the top line with Sidney Crosby, Simon has seven goals and fifteen assists in 64 games this season.
