The Pitt Panthers have announced their third class of inductees into the Pitt Athletics Hall of Fame. Athletic director Heather Lyke made the announcement on a Facebook Live gathering “Panthers At Home,” Tuesday night.
The 13 inductees include pro football Hall of Famer Curtis Martin, Craig “Ironhead” Heyward, college football Hall of Famers Bob Peck and “Pop” Warner, basketball players Brandin Knight and Jennifer Bruce, former Major League player and manager Ken Macha, football coach Jackie Sherrill, gymnast Donna DeMarino Sanft, track and field runners Chantee Earl and Arnie Sowell, volleyball player Ann Marie Lucanie, and wrestler Pat Santoro. The class will be enshrined October 15th at Heinz Field.
