With NFL facilities closed, the Steelers and the rest of the NFL are conducting their rookie mini-camps this weekend virtually, with the first-year players attending Zoom meetings Friday and Saturday, using laptops loaded with information that the Steelers sent to them after the draft. Some players are able to walk through plays on a field with workout partners.
Coach Mike Tomlin said yesterday that he prefers that teams uniformly return to football activities, rather than a team-by-team approach that is dependent on the rules of each state or area.
