A bout scheduled for UFC 249 has been put on hold as Ronaldo Souza and two cornermen have tested positive for Covid-19.
He was tested prior to the weigh-in on Friday, and he was seen at the weigh-in wearing gloves and a mask. Officials say the fight will still be held in an empty arena in Jacksonville.
Florida has allowed sports and sports-entertainment events with a national audience to continue to work, but the arenas are not allowed to have any fans and a bare minimal of crew.
The other 23 fighters on the card have tested negative for Covid-19, with Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje in the main event in an interim lightweight title fight.
